More Quinn at 5 Months

I took these yesterday.  I can't get over how cute she is.  And I can say that because I'm her mom.  :)  HERE is a video of her sweet voice.

Hawaii

I took the girls to see my brother and sister-in-law in Hawaii last month.  This was the first time they had met Quinn so it was a special trip.  My parents were there too.  We had a great time.  Justin stayed home this time so of course, we missed him.  I was a little nervous about traveling with both kids by myself but they did great.  Natie played with a new Polly Pocket girl the entire trip over, both flights, only taking a 30 minute break to watch a Thomas video.  Incredible.  Starting with the lady at airport security, Natie introduced herself and Quinn to everyone that we encountered.  "Hi, I'm Natalie.  This is my baby sister Quinn.  I'm 3 and a half."  She made lots of new friends. :)  Check out THIS video of Natie enjoying the hula show.  :)

Quinn is 5 Months

Our Quinn is almost 5 months old already.  She's our little giant.  At her 4 month doctor appt, she weighed in at 17lbs 12 oz...that's the 99th percentile (and 94th in height)!  She's such a happy and easy-going baby.  She loves to give a big open mouth smile whenever someone engages with her.  At about 3 1/2 months, she started squealing, screeching, and laughing super loud.  Makes me laugh every time she does it.  I love how excited she gets every time I get her out of bed in the morning and after nap (see here).  She is completely enamored by her sister, always watching her and smiling at her.  She has the same beautiful eyelashes as Natalie and the prettiest deep blue eyes.  She's a great sleeper.  She's almost rolling over (check it out) and I know it won't be long until she's sitting up.  It all happens so fast.

Christmas 2011

Finally getting a chance to post some pictures from Christmas. Let me just start with this...

...meet Herbie. Natie watched the classic Rudolph movie about 7 times this year and is obsessed with Herbie the misfit elf...who really wants to be a dentist. :) She could barely tear herself away from him on Christmas Eve to open presents.

Here's Natie and the "Cabbage Pat" (as she calls it) doll that Mimi and Papa got her. Mimi made a chest full of clothes for her too! Dear Lord, when is this kid going to learn how to smile?!
