More Easter

Just downloaded some more pictures from Easter so I thought I'd share. Here's Natie in her Easter dress.

She humors me every year and lets me put these goofy ears on. She was so excited that the Easter Bunny brought her the Emily train she wanted. HERE is a video of her opening her Easter basket.

Natalie was working hard on a drawing the other morning. "Look Mom, a spider!" Considering she's never drawn one before, I was impressed...8 legs, 4 on each side!

My grandma came up to visit last week, so Natie got to spend time with Great Grandma.

New Baby

Here's a picture of our new baby!

Just finished the 1st trimester, so its still early, but we're super excited! Natalie's already getting ready to be a big sister!

Speaking of Natalie, I have a funny story to tell. The other day, I asked her to put away her princesses before I got out of the shower. The playroom was a disaster so I gave her one easy cleaning task. When I got out of the shower, I asked her if she did it and she said "No". I asked her again to clean up her princesses. About 5 minutes later, she walks into my bathroom, ringing her little toy princess phone and this is how the conversation went:

Natie: "Mom, Nana is on the phone."

Me: "Oh yeah, what did she say?"

Natie: "She says I don't have to put my princesses away."

Me: "Oh really? Tell Nana she's not the boss, I am, and you still need to go clean them up. Now go."

She walks away. Comes back in 2 minutes, phone ringing again.

Natie: "Mom, Mimi is on the phone."

Me: "What did she say?"

Natie: "She said you're not the boss."

Are you kidding me? She's only 2 years old. I laughed to myself about this all day. :)

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day, Mom! I love you. You're the coolest.

Pretty sure you're not going to be happy that I'm posting this, but I love this picture. Who else could pull off a cowboy hat, Mickie Mouse shirt, and bell bottom jeans like this? :) Reminds me of our many family campouts.

And here's my Grandma Bennett. Sure wish she was still here. I miss her so much.

We finally checked out the Portland Children's Museum. Here's Natie with Curious George.

Here's Natie in the water room. It took her a few minutes to warm up to the smock and the chaos in there, but she ended up having fun.

Her favorite part was the mock grocery store. I had to tear her away so we could see the rest of the place before it was time to go!
