6 Years

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago and has been cancer-free since her treatment! We are so thankful for her and her continuing good health!

Support the Komen foundation whenever you get the opportunity. All of us know someone (or several) who have been affected by breast cancer.

3 Months Old

Natalie turned 3 months old yesterday! We love her so much. Every day with her is truly a blessing!

Just this past week she's really started using her hands to touch and grasp things. Every day she gets a little more control over them. When I put a toy in front of her now, she grabs it and hugs it to her face (trying to get it in her mouth).

When she wakes up in the morning, she gives us the sweetest smile. What a perfect way to start the day!

Her voice is getting louder and more squealy. I think she must be testing out the volume and pitch. I like to try to translate the sounds. I'm almost certain she said "iced tea" the other day.

She discovered the TV. Even though I still try to keep it out of her line of sight, if she gets a peek, she stares at it like a zombie. She is especially interested in Oprah.

She has the longest, prettiest eye lashes that have a perfect natural curl.

We are thankful for the car seat, the binkie, and the exercise ball....our weapons of soothing.

Here's our girl at 3 months...

Extreme Closeups

I love her little mouth. I think its so tiny and sweet and sometimes it looks like a little heart.

She makes this curious/concerned expression all the time.
I think her eyes look like her dad's. I hope they stay this beautiful deep blue color.

BUMBO

She's big enough to sit in her Bumbo chair now! Her head is still a little wobbly, but she's getting stronger.
A helping hand to get her started...She was a little unsure at first...

This one makes me laugh. Looks like its going 100mph and she's holding on for dear life...

A Hui Hou

Natalie loves her Uncle Brad and Auntie M! Their visit was WAY too short and we miss them already! How do you say "COME HOME" in Hawaiian? :)

Don't Be Crabby

Went down to Bandon over Labor Day weekend for our annual family crabbing trip. Natalie's first camping experience! She did great. She's never been so bundled up. She's never felt wind on her face. She stuck her tongue out, I guess to taste the air. Wish I could have gotten a picture of that!

But of course, we were totally lame and didn't take even one photo the whole weekend. So I had to put her in the crabby outfit Uncle Rich and Aunt Jan got her for the trip and take a couple for the blog. How cute is this? She did not love the hat. :)

I'll post more pictures tomorrow...
