Labor Day Crabbing

We just got back from our annual trip to Bandon for camping and crabbing with my family.  It was another great trip and as always, so nice to see everyone.  I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few...

Thank goodness Uncle Rich reserved us a yurt to keep us dry during the nightly rainstorms! Here's Natalie hanging out in our yurt in the crab shirt that Brad and Michelle got for her.  It must have been good luck....they pulled in more than 80 crabs that day for a yummy crab feast that night!

My cousin Mickie and her husband Dave brought Natalie a Barbie fishing pole and a tiny camping chair for her 1st birthday.  Both are ridiculously cute!  Here's Mickie helping her chew on the rubbery butterfly bate on the end of her line.  :)

She loves her Mickie!

Justin and I played a 4-hand cribbage tournament with my cousins, Jonathan and Jenny.  Although, we did get skunked one game, Jenny and I beat the boys (and didn't cheat) and it was glorious!

Here's Natalie staying warm on Sunday morning in her new hat and fancy Nikes that Nana got her.

I love this sassy look.  Notice who showed up on the trip....Mr. Monkey!

Walking!

Last Sunday, Natalie starting walking on her own!  I've been trying to capture it on video all week and finally got some good clips yesterday.  I love how she sort of high-steps with her arms out in front of her and a big smile on her face!  Check her out...

Here's a couple bonus videos I thought were fun too...

She still loves Peek-A-Boo...

Still only 3 teeth on the bottom...

The Past Couple Weeks

Now that she's bigger, Natalie likes to sit (and climb on and bounce) in her little chair.  Here she is watching a video while we have 10 minutes of quiet time for dinner.  :)

Here she is with her dad, chilling out before bedtime.

We tried a popsicle last week and she loved it!

Mom turned 60 last week!  Dad threw a little celebration dinner for her.  It was fun!  Here's the birthday girl.....doesn't look 60, does she?

And here she is with Dad...

Camping Trip

We went camping with Justin's family last weekend at Mt. Hood.  We got to stay in a cute little cabin, the weather was beautiful, and it was fun to see everyone!  Natalie had a great time cruising around in the dirt.  Here are a couple videos and pictures of us hanging out on the deck at the cabin...

Did I mention how much she loves puffy snacks?

Video from Hawaii

I've been terrible about posting videos and they're even more fun than pictures!  So below is a link to one I took when we were in Hawaii back in May visiting my brother and sister-in-law.  Brad would play his guitar and sing for her and she loved it!  I love how her legs are kicking and when she gets her arm going in the air!  CLICK HERE to watch.

Unfortunately, it was too big to load directly onto to blog, but hopefully you can access it via uTube.  Here's a picture of Natie with the guitar she got for her birthday.

Vogue

Justin was in Las Vegas for work a few weeks ago, so I flew down for a day/night to join him.  It was nice to get away and get some time together.  We hadn't been there in a couple years and its amazing how things are always changing.

Here's Justin striking the pose of the mannequin...or maybe performing 'I'm a little teapot'.  Not sure.

A classic self portrait at the new Encore

We saw this cool fountain at the Bellagio.  Wish we could have one of those in our back yard.

I bought Natalie some new walking shoes a couple weeks back.  She likes to take them off and chew on them.

Tried to take a self portrait of us the other day.

Catch!

At my parents' house the other day, my mom and Natalie were playing catch with her new dolly.  Natalie was having lots of fun flinging her all over the place.  Here are some action shots...my mom's expressions and the dolly in motion make me laugh...
